Description
Through the story of two young men, the author brings the character of Forrest to life and follows the daring military exploits of the controversial cavalry leader, who without formal education or prior military experience roe to the rank of Lieutenant General in the Confederate Army. Their story is fiction, but the accounts of Forrest’s military accomplishments are as accurate as the author could determine them.
